Game Rules
Disclaimer: Scattergories – This is the game we got inspired from (You can read more about this game later when you have time. Its a interesting game to play with both adults and children). But as always we will have our own set of rules for “You, Me, Chennai“!
So here are the rules for the game.
You would be give a list of categories and a random alphabet against each alphabet.
For example the Category-Alphabet could be
- Country – ‘I’
- Vegetable – ‘C’
And you can give answers like this
- India
- Carrot
Now comes the catch! You need to be different from others. If others give the same answers as you like “India”, both you and others who gave the same answers would get lesser points compared someone who had given unique answers (say Iran). So, not only you should think of appropriate answers. You should also think of answers which are unique and which may not be repeated by others!
Simple game it is!
The list of category-alphabet combos would be uploaded soon.
Have fun!

To crack the Grand Treasure
Hello Hunters,
As you are aware, this year we experimented with a new theme keeping the core online hunting format. We hope the new format was as interesting and engaging as previous themes. We truly enjoyed as always!
Hope you are busy cracking the last sets of clues. After you have cracked all six set of clues and sending us the answers, you can use online maps (Google maps, Bing maps, etc) or busroutes to find out the grand treasure.
For example, if the bus routes are 23A, 47D and the like, possible grand treasure could be in Thiruvanmiyur or adyar depot or some other locations which you might cross on the route! Instead of travelling all across chennai, you could filter it, travel only to those places and find out the answer by deductions. Please do involve your children (if you haven’t already 🙂
Oh! Before we forget, here’s your clue for the Grand treasure!
Long Long ago, something was stopped/banned and a statue was unveiled on a “Pakistani Independence Day” commemorating the ban. Let us know the “Grand Treasure” and the year the ban was imposed.
